The honest knocks are stacked: the price is enormous, the technique takes genuine practice with damp-not-wet hair timing, and the softer curls drop faster than iron-set curls, especially in humidity. Buy it if you style constantly and prioritize your hair's long-term condition. Skip it if you style twice a month or live somewhere humid and need all-day hold.
